Terms of Service
Last updated October 29, 2026
These terms cover your use of Tinsel, a Mac app that decorates your desktop for the holidays, and of tinselapp.com. Tinsel is made by Don Bytyqi (“we”, “us”). By downloading, installing or buying Tinsel you agree to these terms.
Buying Tinsel
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase.
- Tinsel is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
- Prices are shown at checkout. Sales tax or VAT is added where required.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
Your license
- A license lets one person use Tinsel on every Mac they own or control.
- It includes every update we release for Tinsel 1.
- Licenses are personal. Don't share, resell or publish your license key.
- You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute Tinsel itself, except where the law allows it.
No warranty
Tinsel is provided “as is”. We work hard to make it light and reliable, but we don't promise it will be free of errors or suitable for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Tinsel. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
Changes
We may update these terms, for example when Tinsel gains new features. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes don't take away a license you already bought.
